It’s been created with you in mind to give your holiday that little extra something right when you need it the most - at the start of your break. There’s a special section packed with great things for kids and an area for adults to get away from it all too. Once you’ve checked in, your holiday begins. V ROOM is the perfect place to begin your great escape.
V relaxing
For those of you who want a bit of peace and quiet, we have a separate area designed for adults where you can take it easy in comfort chairs, read the paper, use the internet, or just enjoy the stunning airport views through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
V family friendly
The family area is the perfect place for you to chill out while the kids play in safety. There’s a seperate play area, designed for our younger guests, telescopes for them to gaze across at the mesmorizing airport and some exciting games currently under wraps, giving you the time and space to take it easy before taking off.
V fun
For the bigger kids and grown ups too, there’s the Tech Zone. A dedicated area complete with a big screen tv, cartoons and films to entertain them, internet access, table football and packed with the latest sony video games. It will keep even the most hardened gamers entertained.
V tasty
In the café there’s complimentary hot and cold food, soft drinks and a decent cup of coffee waiting for you. Enjoy a selection from a great choice including tasty pastries, mouth-watering hot sandwiches and an array of fresh fruits, cereal and yoghurt. Alcoholic drinks are also available at the bar (served at a charge). Sit back, enjoy your meal and watch the world fly by.
Fast Track At Gatwick
Fast Track is a priority service offered to lounge passengers by the British Airport Authority when clearing airport security. The dedicated security channel is open daily from 07.00-14.00 but is subject to availability on the day. Virgin Holidays.co.uk is pleased to offer all their guests using the V ROOM access to the Fast Track channel in the South terminal. Look for the signs at security and hand over your Fast Track voucher, which is included in your ticket wallet.
This is definitely not your average airport lounge. It’s V spacious, V relaxed, V comfortable, and V fun.
No wonder we called it the V ROOM (see what we did there?).
