ms Maasdam is a little smaller than some of her sister cruise ships but she’s not short on first-class facilities. She features a large swimming pool with retractable dome so you can swim in all weathers, as well as a gym, spa, tennis courts, deck sports and kids’ clubs.

Despite her smaller dimensions, ms Maasdam is a surprisingly roomy cruise ship. Her spacious staterooms feature home comforts such as air-conditioning, radio, DVD player and flat screen TV showing first-run films.

In the Rotterdam Dining Room you can either opt for set dining times or you can just walk up when you’re ready. It’s a stunning two-tier restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and serves five-course culinary creations, loving prepared by your master chefs.

Fancy a romantic dinner for two? You can’t go wrong in the Pinnacle Grill, an intimate, reservations-only restaurant with specialities like fabulous fresh seafood and Sterling Silver Beef on the menu.

The Lido restaurant is great place to grab a casual bite with the kids since it serves children’s menus and delicious, cooked-to-order dishes. It’s also the venue for your cruise ship’s mouth-watering midnight buffets.
