The design of Braemar creates a wonderful sense of space, her expansive windows providing ocean views from almost every public room. The focal point of this cruise ship is her fantastic five-deck atrium from which you can access some of her restaurants and bars.

Having undergone a refit in 2008, Braemar’s light and airy accommodation includes over 80 passenger cabins and suites with balconies, offering your own private place to soak up the sun.

There’s also a new pub onboard the cruise ship where you can listen to the occasional jazz band or stand-up comedian. Add to this the wide choice of bars and lounges already available, each with their own special ambience, and you’ve got plenty of places to relax and enjoy your cruise holiday.

The Neptune Lounge glitters with shows and cabarets or the occasional stand-up comedian. While the Skylark Lounge is a late-night spot where you can dance on the terrace, under the stars or hold your own intimate cocktail party with new-found friends.

If you prefer, you can spend your evening in The Observatory, where a grand piano will be playing during pre-dinner cocktails and later, you can dance the night away on the glass dance floor.

Dining on Braemar

If you’ve packed your tux, don’t miss out on the five-course Captain’s Dinners in the Thistle Restaurant where you’ll be treated to mouth-watering menus and views of the ocean on three sides of the room.

The Grampian Restaurant serves a delicious selection of dishes and dining here is a mix of formal dining and more casual theme nights.

If you want the freedom to dine when and how you please, you can pop along to the Palms Café where you’ll find a range of tempting international cuisine served buffet-style.
