Announcing its new sailings for 2008, Windstar Cruises claims that the itineraries offer its passengers "adventures" in addition to "pampering".
From Caribbean cruises to Mediterranean cruises, the cruise line has revealed several voyages which aim to combine the luxury of a cruise holiday with the excitement offered by the most exotic destinations.
Its ships Wind Spirit and Wind Surf will offer cruises to Barbados, St Thomas and other Caribbean ports while for those looking for even more adventure, Wind Star is to offer 14-day cruises to Central America and South America as well as the Caribbean islands.
"Travellers looking for an exotic Costa Rican journey will enjoy 7-day sailings roundtrip from Puerto Caldera featuring lush rainforests, azure waters and pristine beaches," the cruise line observed.
Recently, Windstar Cruises announced the launch of a series of Adriatic sailings this summer.
The cruises will take in ports such as Kotor, Trieste, Ploce, Hvar, Sibenik and Rab between Dubrovnik and Venice.
