Costa Serena was modelled on her sister ship, Costa Concordia. She’s one of the largest and longest cruise ships in the fleet, making room for state-of-the-art facilities designed to refresh mind, body and soul.
Two whole decks are given over to her sensational Samsara Spa and there are 13 bars and five restaurants with atmospheres to match every mood. In the evenings the cruise ship buzzes with laughter and chatter – plus a fabulous choice of entertainment.

Everything on Costa Serena has been designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. She has 505 cabins and 55 suites with their own private balcony, while a further 55 cabins and 12 suites have direct access to the Samsara Spa – one of the largest wellness centres afloat.
Costa Serena’s vast size also makes for plenty of deck space where you can join in lively activities with your other cruisers – or get away from it all and soak up some rays.
Kids are welcome onboard and fun daily activities are organised for their age group at the Squok Club – so you can enjoy a little ‘me time.’ In fact Costa Serena’s name stands for harmony and serenity and a cruise holiday on this ship is designed to help you totally unwind.
No two days need ever be the same on Costa Serena. With such a fabulous range of facilities available, you can choose to make them as lively or as lazy as you please. Among the many things onboard to keep you happy and amused are:
Relaxing days are followed by lively nights on Costa Serena. You’ll discover live music playing all around your cruise ship as you drift from bar to bar. If it puts you in the mood for dancing, you can shimmy to latin rhythms in the ballroom or spend the whole night bopping to a disco beat.
There’s plenty more nightly entertainment in the show lounge and you’ll find it hard to resist the lure of the casino tables and slots. Finish your evening with a nightcap in the Cigar and Cognac Bar – or grab your favourite tipple and go sit up on deck under a blanket of stars.
You have a fabulous choice of dining options on your cruise ship, including five-star fine dining experiences or far more casual affairs.
If you don’t want to be tied down to set meal times, your cruise ship’s buffet serves delicious meals all evening – just grab yourself a plate whenever you feel hungry. You’ll also find all your family favourites onboard, such as authentic Italian pizza and pasta.
Slip on a dinner jacket or something pretty for a mouth-watering choice of first-class international cuisine in your cruise ship’s main restaurant. Or for a really special evening, make a reservation and pay a little extra for an à la carte menu par excellence.
